Eldest son of Mangetsu Zataka, Carth was at a crossroads at the age of 10 on whether to become a paladin, like his father, or to become a dark knight, masters of dark power and skill. Certain events that occoured at that time caused him to choose the path of the dark knight and by the age of 16 become Captain of the Royal Guard. The scythe he wields is called Doomsayer and us the heaviest scythe ever made. Carth is the only dark knight with strength to wield it.
