Far away, in a place only heard of in myth and legend, there is a world, filled with the unknown. Roaming this world are not only mortals, but monsters and deities. Gods of great power, who rule. Within that world, there is a kingdom, and with that, a queen who, like all others, believed in these great beings. In the great kingdom of Ithica, Queen Penelope waited for many years for her husband, King Odysseus, to return to the throne from many years of war at Troy.

Many thought he to be dead. This turned out to be a problem. Hundreds of suitors longed for Penelope's hand in marriage, so they would rule alongside the beautiful queen as king.
She gave them many challenges, yet they grew impaitient.
12 years away from home, Odysseus is the only man out of his entire army to make it back alive to Ithica.
He is of course, outraged when he discovers the suitors plans to cheat the challenge
He pretends to be a beggar, and slips into the palace

There, he completes Penelope's final challenge as well as her final hope:
Whoever can string the kings bow will be the new king.
Simple.
Hahahah!.... No
This bow was made especially for his exceptional strength, and that made him, the only person that was able to string it.
He successfully strings the bow in front of all of the suitors, and then, well...
