Surprisingly, merging the original eye painting with the rest of the head was not the hardest part in this project.

There's so many cool details like the reflections on the scales the texture on the horns and the colours in the background are gorgeous, it looks amazing!

This already is epic, very excited to see the full body if you make it.
I really like the detail of the smooth black horn and iridesent plates merging on the horns.

I suppose I've been doing this long enough that when I get an idea, I can start by drawing lines about where I think they ought to be, adjust where needed, and let the flow take over

I have been doing exceptionally well lately. Aside from being a bit tired most days from working a graveyard shift, ad having a few other day-time responsibilities, I don't have much else to complain about. A lot of events in my life are finally starting to align, and I feel a lot more healthy now that I've gotten back into an exercise routine, on top of that, my sweetheart and I have been taking turns preparing lunch with one another once a week, which has fixed my rut a bit.

When yo remix a painting, the hours spent working on it carries over from the original.
I'm most of the way finished with a final iteration of this painting that will add many more hours on top.
