Long long time ago, in a peaceful garden, Tomatoes had been growing for generations. Then, after a terrible storm in a faraway land a group of Potatoes came looking for a safe place to grow. The gardener felt sympathy and said they could share the soil with the Tomatoes. But this wasn't just a visit?the Potatoes had a plan to grow their own patch and call it their own.

The Tomatoes were confused. They didn?t agree to give away part of their garden, but the gardener and some outside plants helped the Potatoes take root anyway. Slowly, more and more Potatoes arrived, and they started putting up fences, planting flags, and calling big parts of the garden "Potato Land." The Tomatoes were pushed into smaller patches, and when they protested, the Potatoes claimed the whole area was theirs.

Some Tomatoes formed a defense group called "Tomash" because they had no garden tools or fences to protect themselves. But many plants called Tomash dangerous and blamed the Tomatoes for the chaos.
Even when only a few Tomatoes were fighting, the Potatoes attacked whole parts of the garden, saying they were just removing "bad roots." But many innocent Tomato sprouts ? even baby ones ? were crushed or burned. The Potatoes said, ?If we leave them, they might grow into enemies.? The Tomatoes cried out, but the bigger plants watching the garden stayed quiet.
Now, the Tomatoes are stuck in small, dry parts of the garden. #comic
