thank you!! but, please don't put yourself down to lift me up :'D we draw different things in different ways/skill levels, and comparison is both tricky to do bc of it and also not healthy to do if you feel like "ohh, this persons art is better than mine" :'3

i'm doing well!! life's been kinda uneventful for me, i'm getting my last name changed soon tho :3c it's smth ive been both wanting and needing to do for a while now for various reasons, and in july it'll finally happen hehe. aside from that i havent done too much of note, ive gotten into custom 3ds theme making and into the doom series, otherwise i've been pretty creatively blocked lately :pensive: ive been unable to really draw nor write, which stinks bc im still having ideas for stuff djdjsndkf :'D

no one one pronunces my name correctly and very few spell it right.
normally this shouldent be a big deal. but going to the docter or like, doing legal docments kinda sucks cuz everyone gets it wrong :/ its such a unique name, but because of that i want people to get it right even more LOL XD
but changing names costs alot and changing every single document or signature, or ID is a PAIN. i dont want to deal with the hassle :C

also had a nice time w/ my dad yesterday! watched a movie at his place then went to Applebees for dinner. it was fun.

ive been playing the super cute Emerald rom hack called Super Mariomon. i love it.
So its pokemon, but everthing be is Mario now! You play as Mario, Luigi is your frendly-rival.

Prof E.Gad gives starter choises of Phrana plant(grass) Bomb-Omb(fire) or Blooper(water)

The whole Tattledex (Pokedex) are mario enemys spaning from varius mario games!!

You can battle Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, DonkeyKong, Rosalina, Pauline etc. for Power Stars (badges) Rainbow Road is victory road, the l5l capture (normaly Mew) was awesone. huge spoiler so i wont say what is was but gosh the whole game is very well done.
AND! there are shinys in the game! <3
i beat the main story so im now shiny hunting for a Shiny Birdo and a shiny Luma rn.

its so freaking good

ooouughh i get that, my legal first name is pretty rare too and also hard to pronounce... it has two official pronunciations so, ythink with two chances to get it right that people would hit at least one of them :skull: i'd say it also gets mispelled quite a lot too. its honestly just funny to me atp :sob: i intend to change mine too one day, not just for those reasons but to match my chosen name for myself :']

sounds like yall had a great time!! :eyes: my time was good too, me n my dad went to my grandpa/his dad's house for a cookout, a few other people showed up. someone brought their service dog in-training, he was a lil australian shepherd puppy n his name was incredible: Campbell Chunky Soup, or chunky for short :pleading_face:
we ate a variety of foods and also helped my grandpa try n get his pool fixed up, both for summer usage and also since he --

intends to sell his house soon. my dad joked that we'd buy the house from him but, honestly it's in a really nice woodsy location. only downside is that its a bit of a drive from any towns so... /shrug
and after that we went home, my dad got a bit sick from having eaten too much tho lol :sob: he's fine now luckily

for me, i've been getting into the doom series... i've never really played shooter--

games before but, doom's lore is interesting and honestly it feels pretty nice to play even with my inexperience. i got a collection of all the games (except the latest one) on my switch :smiling_imp:

also idk if youve heard of it, but in my provence there is this anime convention called Ai-Kon. my foster mom bought me a pass so i went today! i havent gone since i was thirteen!

like, it was really cool. the atmosphere is so fun. the cosplays people had were REALLY good. apperently people work on them for a whole year?? :O
there were like, so many market vendors as well. all the items they sell are hand-made by the people working the booths.

i bought myself a couple cute stickers and a lil' pin, but sadly i lost them on the way out of the bulding!!(; o ;)
both were only 5 dollers so im not too upset... but im very happy with the main purcise i bought: a hand-made SHINY Laprus plush!!! it is stunning. i could have mistaken it for an offical nintedo plush, insanely well made. -Continued-

it was pricey being 60 dollers.. but ive always wanted a shiny pokemon plushie. and stores just dont sell shiny plushes. Even the pokecenter japan site only has one shiny plush, and only because shiny tapu koko was a mystery gift in sun/moon.
so the only way to have a shiny plush is to ether order it from etsy or somthin or buy a handmade one.
the matierials are super sturdy, too. profesional quality. this lapras is gonna thrive for a long time :D

it was a really fun time. these convention things have gotten so big since i last seen em. there were probaly many hundreds of people scattered throughout the venue.
and the people are very friendly too that go/work there.
i love how there are gaming and anime communitys that are like, good people, ya know?

i was gonna bring my 2ds for streetpasses, but its not much of a thing anymore sadly -3-

but yeah, it was fun. you ever been to any conventons?

im boutta go to bed so, ill write this a bit less detailed than i normally do, but!!! happy 26th birthday shine!!! :D i hope it was a good one and that u got some cool stuff, n generally had a good time!! that convention sounds rlly fun, ive never been to any conventions before but i would really like to go to some someday, prolly a furry con or maybe like, video game con or even just an anime con lol, they all seem fun. shiny lapras plush sounds awesome :eyes: i wanna make myself a haxorus plushie someday, if i did i'll probably make it shiny too ^^ --

conventions in general are just awesome places to be, my friend went to a transformers convention in the uk fairlyyyy recently and there was a ton of cool stuff aaand cool people there :] if i ever went to any sorta con, i'd definitely bring my 2ds n prolly a couple pokemon games to see if i can get some trades in, or maybe do funfest missions in the pokemon black n white games :o

shame abt losing the lil sticksrs n stuff tho :pensive: maybe one day you can get some replacements? if u remember the shop that sold them, most ppl who attend conventions n sell stuff also tend to tell their stuff online too, so, u may be able to find them online too if u remember the seller (albeit prolly at a more expensive cost)

but ye, hope u had a nice time today!! even despite my court mishaps im doing well myself, me n my dad got some cookies n donuts today to make up for the postponing :p
