Orpheus and Eurydice by Kasumi

He softened the hearts of Hades and Persephone with his soulful lyre playing. They allowed him to retrieve his wife from the underworld on the condition that he not look back at her until they had both exited the underworld. But as he drew near, he could not contain his excitement. He looked back and she vanished forever.

I'm not too proud of this one. Made for the weekly challenge on the forum: http://forum.brombra.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1461
