YAY!! I'm starting to feel a bit of an attachment to the old guy after all the paintings you've done of him in waiting rooms. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm glad the prognosis is good!!

I guess there's no harm in talking about it.. in 2009, he was diagnosed with the Big C - Cancer. Liver Cancer to be precise.. Was a 'scary' and unknown time for us as a family.. but he is totally clear now. Something like that made me realize, any time, with him is precious nowadays - cherish the moments with your loved ones if u can. :)

That's great he's clear now, I lost my mother due to liver problems, now I spend as much time with my dad as I can, he's 82 now so I you never know how much time you have left together, :-)
