I honestly think Terra's design choice to make his skin really ashy was smart. The idea that he has had barely any sunlight is lore accurate since he WAS ejected. I do feel like making him pale would have made sense since skin color actually was determined on how much sunlight affects the area: which contributed to evolution.

And because he formed farther from the sun, well I guess it would make sense :')

Sun: albino but still black, he has braids too
Mercury: almost milk chocolate but with vitiligo, really curly hair
Venus: Dark chocolate, damaged straight hair, it's really long and has burn marks from fire (referencing how he lost life)
Earth: he'd be Caucasian, recieves minimal tan but grows one bc global warming
Mars: Really tan and pink, often sunburned. Curly hair
Jupiter: ashy dark skin, dreadlocks
