Clearing Up Some Misconceptions/Myths Abt Therians by _-Foxy-Lily-_
Therianthropy has a LOT of bad myths and misconceptions floating around it, so I'm going to try to bust all the ones ik. you can suggest more in the comments, if you like!
Here we go!
1. Therians think they're animals
no, we do not think we are animals. that's lycanthropy.
2. Therians & furries are the same.

3. you can 'become' a Therian.
you can't become a #Therian, you either are or you aren't.

nope, they don't! you don't have to wear anything Therian related at all!
5. Therianthropy is a cult
no... It's not. it just isn't. also, It's not a religion either.
6. Therians pee in litter boxes and eat pet food, etc.

7. you can't be a Therian and Christian at the same time
this is probably bc some Therians believe they are reincarnations of animals. not all Therians believe this, such as me, bc i don't believe in reincarnation.

question- how do you know if you're a therian? i'm suspecting i am one, but i kinda feel like i'm faking it. (i'm most likely not, don't worry, my brain just likes to think i'm faking everything. -_-)

do you ever feel like you identify as a species of animal?
like you should be it instead of human?
do you ever feel a tail, ears, or wings on you even though they aren't rly there? do you do sort of animalistic things when certain emotions come upon you, like gritting your teeth when mad? do you ever feel like chewing on ur stuff? do you ever have flashbacks where you are an animal, even though your not?
