Sea, The Sun, The Star by Puzzled

Looks like my head is stuck thinking about the sea. A dip in the water sounds really nice right now! <3

You capture perspective so wonderfully! I must study to learn more.

As for the colors... Wouldn't it make more sense for the clouds to be shaded the same color as the sky here? Because clouds are made of water that scatter light. They essentially take in whatever color that passes through them, if that makes sense.

Anyway, hopefully that helps. If not, that's okay too. You'll learn at your own pace. :)

Actually, you know what? Don't listen to me. I don't think I spend enough time looking/studying sunsets. I just looked at a sunset over the beach, and it looks very similar to this.

Sorry, Puzzled.

Anyway, how are you doing? We haven't talked in some time.

@Mewsea: Sorry for this late reply! I've been busy sadly. I tried drawing irl with others and now I can't finish a drawing without feeling bad. And my sonarpen has been having issues. I know I'll overcome these issues eventually, but its definitely hasn't been boring! XD Hoping you are doing well ^u^

On your remarks about the clouds: I actually do agree with you. The main reason I drew them this way is because it's easier to separate the clouds from the sky especially since there's no outlines.

Thinking on it, I believe clouds (despite being mainly water) are more of a floating object. I mean the sky is blue yet clouds are not seen as blue but white. I've even seen dark grey clouds despite a blue sky. Maybe because water is rarely pure or clouds color is due to the amount of water. I wonder how much impact the color of the sky has on clouds?

On a side note: The fact this drawing looks similar to a sunset made me very happy! >u<
