WinterSky never dispersed to find a mate, he stayed 'til the end in his pack.
At 5 yrs old, he inherited the title of leader of the Season Pack.
He lead the pack with his mate SpringWind x almost 1 year.
He lost his life (at 6 yrs old) during an enemy pack invasion.
The battle took place near a bison heard, and an enemy wolf held still 1 of his pups in front of a bison.
WinterSky bit the enemy, freeing the injured pup, but was fatally hit in the back by the charging bison.
