*ahem* a surprising amount of ppl think that furries and therians are the same thing or interchangeable. they are not. here's the differences:
#Therian : Identifying as a species of animal, sometimes multiple. you may also feel animalistic urges or even feel limbs or tails of the specific animal (your *theriotype*)
this is not a choice. you are, or you aren't.
#furry : a furry is someone who likes, draws, or dresses up as anthropomorphic animals.
this is a choice.

@ThyFoxyLily REAL- I've seen so many other people get called furries also, I genuinely don't know if its just an insult for very blurred lines between furries/therians (even though that line was never blurred to begin with lolz-)

@OreoCat i think ppl get mistaken when they see gear-wearing therians, and a lot of ppl don't know what a therian is, so they see the mask and/or tail/ears and just think it's a furry.
