ok so spirit was born in a super rich family of hisuian zoruark and he was raised to belive that friendly competition like pokemon battles and going out to the wilderness was bad n stuff. so once he defied that and he got in trouble and got hurt super bad so his family hired guards to watch him at all times. and because of that he got low confidence and so he hides it by putting on a smile and acting like hes better than everyone else. :3
