Hello everyone, just wanted to say something important!
Don't worry about this drawing, it won't become more violent than necessary.
If you look at the context, we're in the homicide department of the police station, so there must be at least some crime of this nature to open a case ^^"
Personally, I'm a 23 year old adult and I'm not sensitive to these issues (in fact I'm fascinated by understanding crime), but I'm aware that there are a lot of underage users on ColorsLive, that's why I usually post more explicit/gore drawings on other platforms.
I considered this one not so "inappropriate" for this platform, but if you are uncomfortable I can delete it without problems! :)
I usually draw super cute and sweet drawings of Neo and Eric being happy together, but I also enjoy drawing Lowell committing crimes HAHAHAH I'm kinda mad lmao.
So the visual novel will be mixing everything, cute and even terriying events
I wanted to make a psychological reading of this piece because I’m analyzing it in depth to write a strong novel. I will address a series of important points below, because I feel that this work has great potential to tell stories without words. Each image in this scene hast to be a moment that speaks for itself.
• Emotional symbolism and expressive design: It uses elements such as light, color, and gestures to express more than what is seen on the surface. Facial expressions, posture, and lighting dynamics reinforce the emotional tone of each scene.
• Theme and narrative: The scene depicts an emotionally devastating moment. A man (apparently a paternal or protective figure) is crying while covering the eyes of a young girl in front of what appears to be a bloody scene. This gesture reflects a strong instinct to protect and a deep sense of humanity.
• Use of light: The flashlight creates a focal point on the tragedy (the blood-covered body) while the rest remains in darkness. This not only emphasizes the shock of the moment, but also the symbolism that some truths, once revealed, cannot be ignored. The light also acts as a symbol of hope or revelation, in contrast with the emotional darkness of the surroundings.
• Emotional expression: There is an honest and powerful portrayal of pain, trauma, and the desire to protect, which reflects my personal connection with complex and deep human emotions.
With this, I aim to build scenes that tell stories in a single frame, demonstrating a mature understanding of human emotion.
