Fern: huh? Where’s he going? *follows silently

-the cave was cold and dark, the air was scentless. Though scared, Fern followed-

-Kaelen turns around suddenly-

Fern thinks: did he see me? Oh no *hides behind a stalagmite*
Kaelen: huh.. must have been the sound of the water…

-Fern sighed, relieved, and kept following from a distance. In the deepest part of the cave, there was a shrine; it glowed weakly. The place looked like it was abandoned for a long time-

Fern thinks: woah.. what is this place..?

-Suddenly, a slender white creature appeared-

?: u came, king Kaelen, just as i predicted

Kaelen: Oh Lord… *looks at her in disbelief* … if I had known a Spirit had summoned me… I would have brought offerings… what can I do for you?

?: do not worry about such trivial things… I ne..d your he..p *whispers*

Kaelen: Anything! Whatever you want! I’ll do it!

?: Take this. Keep it sa..e. It’s p…er it’s too great to fa..l in the wr…g hands.

Fern thinks: ugh I wanna get closer but I’ll be discovered if I do! Why must they whisper like that? Ugh

?: in exch..ge, I want your best fur dyes. Give me the col…s of Bri..ht C..ts, so I can walk am..ng them and hide my iden…ty.

Kaelen: ..As u wish *bows head and reluctantly takes the pearl*

omg it's literally page 105 and u guys r like getting the first taste of the actual LORE (this is just scratching the mere surface TwT). I'm not even halfway there!!! Ahaha.
