How do you draw men with long hair without them looking like women?
I'm drawing my parents for a 2 for 1 combo for mother and fathers day and idk how to draw his hair w/o him looking like my second mother with a thobe and beard :skull:

A lot of it might be carried by the shouders and jaw structuture. Grown men tend to have broad shouders and a thicker jaw line.
I don't know how I could describe it further, but that might be a start.

I would say that depending on age: split ends. Men (iv seen with long hair like my dad) don't always have super duper smooth hair. usually a few split ends here and there

just make the other features more masculine until it looks ok maybe? most of the time you can tell if someone is a man or woman by looking at the face :3
