i think at the very least i need to change how i interact with this platform and just . completely avoid new scribbles & new paintings & trending, and only barely interact with my following feed. it sucks bc i love all the cool art on here and enjoy looking for new artists with fun styles, because seeing others create and be passionate is what gives me a lot of inspiration to keep creating for myself... but it feels like there's so much fighting on here that its barely an art platform anymore. and to be blunt, the cl staff does a terrible job of managing all of the drama. they need to hire more moderation staff, improve their moderation tools and also just improve stuff for the users of this place, like people have requested them to improve the block tool many times but they just Won't lmaooo. they probably have stuff going on behind the scenes tbf, but... theres only so much radio silence and mishandling of a community that i can excuse.

so yeah, i think i'll be stepping back and being more distant in regards to how i interact with this platform, im not quitting yet but its for the sake of my own mental health that i do this. i already got problems irl, i dont need to see so much negativity on the daily lol
i'll still be posting!! i just might not yap much in my descs and generally wont talk to others much on here, aside from a few of my mutuals n friends (looking at u, shine and cimilo :p)

I tend to not show me mental help in this app, I try to not show my emotions due to me fearing that I will interfere with others' lifes. Thanks for mentioning me, you're basically one person on here that's keeping me to publish my works online. This may sound weird, but you're actually me inspiration towards publishing my stuff and expanding it to other platforms. :)

If you think about avoiding new drawings and stuff, I can just check (when I have time) and just link them to you. Also, I deleted my NewGrounds account, they actually have less (pretty much no) drama, but you can post whatever you made there, and well... some artist, made so rather interesting things there... I keep getting garbage in my feed, even though there was one artist who enjoy my stuff (I just linked them to my Reddit). Hopefully you're doing well, you're the only thing---

thank you for your kind words :'D i don't think there's a lot you specifically can do to solve my provlems with this platform, there's just. A Lot Happening On Here. it'd take an effort from a wider amount of people to fix things... this community is small, and people tend to fight with each other, and when they fight, soon many people end up talking about it and adding fuel to the fire :pensive:

anyway, djsjshksjd i'm glad i could have such an impact on you, that's really sweet tbh :pleading_face: i do intend to expand my own works to other platforms as well eventually, it'll probably be a bit until then though for personal reasons x_x and i get ya in regards to not telling others your problems, i usdd to do that a lot. it isn't a very healthy thing to do in the long run though, obviously you don't need to spill your whole heart out to people but... just make sure you don't bottle it up /all/ the time, ik from experience it doesn't go well ;v;

thank you for the offer, only do that if you really want to though!! cuz i'll probably just try to spend more time looking for cool artists on other platforms rather than here lol :'3 i have considered newgrounds a few times, especially since one of my favorite artists on here left colors and moved onto there. im considering being more active on blusky and tumblr in the future, since you can heavily curate your user experience and filter out/block most stuff you don't want to see. i do have some stuff on my tumblr already, however i havent been posting on there for a year now for personal reasons :sob:

i think there's only a couple people who moderate community stuff, cuz i remember reporting someone on here for being too young to use the site and it took a couple weeks for them to get back to me :broken_heart: they do have some automation for it afaik, but they definitely need more :'D

i do still have my piano, but i havent played it in years, i lost motivation for learning it a while back :( i have been thinking of picking it up again lately though, especially since i want to dabble in music stuffs. my piano's a digital/electric piano sooo... i have quite a lot of options for music making on it :thinking:

I might make a Blusky or Tumblr in the future, I just really don't what to take care of the account and try to interact with the community. About you only feeling comfortable drawing on your 2DS and Switch, I do have procreate on my Ipad, I really hate in though, mostly do to them not have a acid-like tool or a select-and-move. But that's what I use for my cover-art for my music.
