i found out today, i dont have a personality of my own, i copy and do what others would want me to say,
i was asked my favourite colour, and i didnt know, most of my friends like the colour blue so i learned to like it..
i dont like that colour anymore, or anything else they like, i just want to be me but i dont know what "me" is anymore... all my interests are based off what they want me to say i like, i even have my room decorated the way that my friends would like, (continued) #vent ?

it makes me feel sick when i walk into my room, it feels like i dont belong there, i dont know how to fix myself and find out what i like, i just hate not even knowing what my favourite colour/movie/book is, all the basic stuff, i wonder if i even like art...?

hey. ive been trough this before, just know you aren't alone. trying to be like others is something everyone has been trough at least once. i would recommend you to find out the things you really like.

:sob: I was at that stage too before. Mostly because most didn't like what I liked, In a way it keeps you safe, but in another way it's hard to pick exactly.

if everyone likes something it's natural that you'll start to like it too
you just have to reflect on yourself and figure out what you really like
it can take years, but it's ok
I'm still wondering, so take all the time you need
