Its fun to me.
I like to make it so that dust had romantic feelings for k!ller first. Dust is so solitary and pushes people away but he tried to open up to k!ller who, looking for something less serious, accepted. Dust got caught up because he was finally able to feel more at peace. He loved on k!ller at most chances, holding hands usually. K!ller eventually wanted to leave and used a long term mission as an excuse to leave. all that distance made dust push EVERYONE away, desperate for k!ller.
