Yay my 16th b-day is almost here, it feels like it was just yesterday since i found this place, and made such wonderful friends along the way.
anywayssss.... I'm getting a drawing tablet! an xppen 15.6 pro! does anyone know any good art programs? i'm planning on drawing with clip studio paint, i'll also make animations on there. I wanna make my own youtube acc so that i can start my wolf series but that'll take awhile :'D
i'm also getting the new switch 2! so that'll be exciting.

Wow i've had colors for 3 years, i should probably draw something for that...
I'm also hoping i don't forget about this place, my life might get a bit busier than usual but i'll try my best to stay in touch with this place. :thumbsup:

My Aunt gave me an XP Pen 15.6 Pro as a birthday gift a few years ago. She got it for herself, but couldn't quite get it to work on her computer, so I asked to buy it off her, but then she offered to give it to me as a gift instead.
As far as Software goes, I've enjoyed using Krita. I'm thinking about getting Asprite for animating pixel art. I read online that if you can manage the sourcecode for that one on (I think it was) Github, you can use it for free, or buy just buy it on Steam.

I used to have free access to the Adobe suite when the college I work for had a contract with them (and as such all students, faculty and staff had free Adobe accounts), but that contract was terminated when Adobe went rogue.
I haven't tried Clip Studio Paint yet, but I hear that one is really good.

@The_Adjudicator Yeah i heard about krita and adobe, i'm actually planning on doing the free trial first on csp to see if it'll fit me, then i'll probably be saving up for the perpetual license which is about 80 dollars here.
but my mum said she's gonna help me out with it, i'll be using her old laptop for the software, but what I've seen and researched clip studio paint seems pretty good.

Now that I think about it, Blendr is supposed to be another great software option, not just for 3D modeling either, but I haven't really looked into blendr yet.
