hi! we might do another interview with more questions but I think your questions are answered in the interviews.
Question 1: How was Colors Live game got brainstorm to made?
Jens explains in his interview, he wanted to create something fun for the Nintendo DS.

Question 2: How did you and the Colors Team find each other?
Jens posted in the forum a long time ago, and I responded, and then the crew grew out of necessity.

haha but all the questions are collected and being organised, I think maybe your new questions are too late to include in our final part! But I can try to reply, and lets tag @-zyik- :)
1. Jens is the main developer and when he is sick, we just hope he gets healthy soon, but no problem because we can wait with development! The team is small, we don't always work on the app and everybody works from home. So then the most important part is, when a moderator for the website is sick, another moderator needs to work on issues. That's Zyik or Johannes, and also Jens can take care when the other is not available.
2. Jens has a list of wishes he wants to add, so maybe! 3. Jens is investigating the possibilities, we want to do a version for switch 2! I think maybe expensions will be added to the current game, will that still be like a new game? 4. I tried to do a collab with the team, you mean like a remix? It was done for testing the remix option. maybe we should try again. :)

Though dev interviews are over now I'll answer these anyway!

Question 1: How was Colors Live game got brainstorm to made?

From what I recall, Jens had a pro art friend who showed him a technique for making detailed paintings with minimal brush strokes so Jens wanted to make an app that was similar/incoporated that philosophy.

Question 2: How did you and the Colors Team find each other?

I've been a Colors Gallery user since the 3DS but didn't get to know the rest of the team more closely until I became a moderator on discord and eventually a Colors Team member.

Extra questions:

1. What happens if the members are sick?

Usually we let the others know when we aren't well or are busy and someone else picks up the slack. Though for me personally I tend to keep up working even when sick unless Im more sick than usual and need a lot of rest.

2. Will you add a multiplayer drawing collab update?

Hopefully someday! Jens is exploring options still. Switch 2 having extra power and features compared to the switch 1 means theres stuff that may be possible thats not possible on the first switch or not as easy to pull off. For example the switch 2 has gameshare, gamechat, a lot more power, and much more+faster memory so I imagine some feature parity would be difficult like if we tried to make the Colors!3D for 3DS and Colors Live for Switch equal in every way. Whatever we decide, I'm excited to be a part of it!

3. Will you also do a new game on the Nintendo switch 2 or just add expansions?

I believe the current plan is a switch 2 edition of colors live but nothing is set in stone. It would be a version that takes advantage of the extra power+features of switch 2 so higher resolution paintings, bigger exports, QoL improvements like faster loading+playbacks etc. Colors Live 2 sounds a bit more exciting and if we did that it would probably be on switch 1 as well but we're still in the planning phase. Especially since we don't have dev kits as of yet.
