okay start doing little things before you know you are going to want to cut. ex: when i start to get upset ill cut off all my nail so i cant rip/dig into at my skin
its hard. i never cut but i did have Dermatillomania ill say a prayer best is to look forward to healing its small but it helps dont give up :) u got this <3
@ry_r4t had a good point with drawing draw thing that make u happy incouraging things too :3 even writing something "dont forget you quitting this okay :)" or reasons why you want to quit sometime its like a trance writing reminder can help u remember why your quitting :) help you to snap out of the urge
i'm so sorry about what ever happened, i cutted myself too and sometimes i still want to. sh'it that's frustrating. life sometimes isn't ''very happy'' but remember that you are so important for me, the friends here are the only real friends that i have so please d it for me ok? i don't like seeing people feel bad
here were my ways when it got bad -music (full blast) -red pen/marker -holding an ice cube in your hand -reading -braiding someones hair -hugging a stuffed animal as hard as you can -calling a friend -yoga? (idk either) -long walks -try and learn something new -draw -cut paper instead -organize your room -start a new show -watching the sunset or the moon -write a poem -try a new hobby
i dont cut but my friend used to, i'd say keep you nails short as you can and if yk your about to then go to a room with no sharp objects and stay in there til you dont feel like it anymore.
