I prefer Darkness even though God is Light i always like Darkness it sooths me iz dat odd? XD

hey im both, i like darkness, darkness is cool, but light is cool too cuz i like the sun and rainbows and bright colors, so i'd prefer darkness but not total darkness ex: in a room i like ALL the lights off but i want the light from the tv/sun (depends on whether it's nighttime[tv] or daytime[sun] ) to help me be able to see :P

but for the most part i vote for dark, that's why my favorite sonic character is shadow :)

What I love about your art it's got such a deep message, I still not sure what to make of it. I think i'm inbetween, I like happiness and good things but i also have a very dark sense of humor, mainly enjoying Satire of real life events.

This picture perfectly explains my problem (well, maybe not perfectly): I love writing about darkness and shadows overtaking the light, but I am terrified of the dark in real life!

I think you're the only one who can read those words... ^_^; The picture isn't all about you, but you definitely influenced it. (I did short hair for a greater contrast with the white haired angel.) I'm glad that you seem to be coming out of your comfort zone so to speak. I'm not sure what you've been through, but I'm always willing to listen. I actually want to understand how people think, though I'll admit that I sometimes try to "help" out of habit. If it's any consolation, I'm pretty uncomfortable in the dark.

And, vanitas, no one's perfect. We all have areas we need to improve, but identifying them is an important step. Hmmm...Maybe you could wear sunglasses? :P

I think that its best to try and befriend someone who is little to nothing like you at all. It's the new knowledge and experience with different and unique people that you just can't get out of those that are just in your comfort zone. The brand new feelings or thoughts you now have to learn about and figure out...it's an adventure within itself!

My best friend is (was?) the darkest person i've ever met, which kind of worked becuz I am (was) extremely bright n cheery. Like TOO cheery. He always took everything way too seriously and I couldnt ever take ANYTHING sseriously. Normally a match like ours wld end in disaster, but we kind of leveled each other out. He taught me how to take life seriously n tht it isnt all just fun n games, and I taught him tht all work n no play makes for a pretty miserable time ntaught him to look on the bright side n just to have FUN once in a while.

I guess wht I'm saying is tht it is definately possible for both sides to get along, become friends, n learn from one another. Even if they're dead set against learning anything :)

I personally like both. Sometimes I like things bright, vibrant and cheery and others I like things dark and even somewhat demented. I think they go together just fine. You can't distinguish one without the other and often the beauty of one is shown more with the other present. Just like the beauty of contrast. So while they can contradict each other I think in that way they actually compliment each other.
