I believe so, depression can affect others differently, I have something a little similar where if I'm with people, I'm energetic etc. But when alone, negative thoughts, thoughts of the past, losing motivation etc. Sorry- I feel like I just vented but I do think so, it's different for other people like I said

so you go to servers, and at the very top there should be a button that says "create private server". click that and mess around with the settings to turn on joins if you wish, and boom!
