In my interpretation of the Mr. Freeze and Nora story, Victor isn't just some creepy guy who freezes his wife just because he can't deal with grief, and doesn't seem to care how she might had felt about it, but is actually a very sweet guy who sees his wife as an equal. They actually love eachother and will do just about anything for one another.
I really think that DC should explore their relationship more. I think it's a missed opportunity in my humble opinion.
