As to answer how I'd reply to a scammer, depends.
If the person hacked into a friend's account & sent a message saying I've done something wrong & need to do something to prove I didn't do it, which I have had happen to me before on discord, I'd talk with them to see what happened & why I recevied the message I recevied, help them secure their account & warn them about clicking suspicious links, regardless of who sends it. [the friend who got hacked was able to change the password & secure their account before the hacker could cause further damage. The fake message said I did something wrong & that I had to join a server & say I didn't do it in that server. After messaging the friend in a server we both we're in, they cleared up that it wasn't them & that they got hacked. I've had a few friends get hacked before, but I always tried to help them with what I know, while avoiding any links I know cannot be trusted.]
If being directly contacted by said scammer, I would not answer them, block them, & report them if possible to!

Just ignore the person, or block them.
If they have nothing to use against you, they're just merely a fly, flying around & bothering you with its noise till you kill the bug, or you can continue to ignore it till it flies elsewhere.
It's truly your choice as to how you respond, but make the choice with proper thinking.
Just because you can get rid of a fly with fire & hairspray, doesn't mean you should that.

I say this as a fly is present in my room & has been flying near my ear for maybe about half an hour.
its really annoying. I'm gonna find the fly swatter rq

I asked KC & she said that last she checked,
it was $25. I think I remember it being that price
but idk
all I know is that if they cannot physically see what is wrong with the charger to make it not work, they let you have a new one without charge

btw my chromebook for now is fine.
used a phone charger to get it up to 100% last night
