I saw this the other day, but was a bit limited on time for comments. Honestly, I love the comedy of giving her Mario's hat. You also really nailed the pose work. As far as composition goes, I've learned there's something to be said about how much space is filled up by the character in relation to the whole canvas...
Looking closer at the composition, if I were to paint her now, I would have zoomed in a little bit more, and put her face just above the center of the screen, and her left leg near the bottom, to put more focus on her defining features. Though I admit that might not be a good composition in the end.
Over all, your recreation of Bayonetta's render here is quite clean. It's good to keep it simple. I sometimes put too much effort into detail, which takes away from the purpose of the portrait.
