"Where are you going?" I pester. "N-nowhere!" My little sister panicked. "Hmm." Sometimes I feel bad for my scrawny sister. She's full of anxiety, she has to worry about finding a match, blah blah BLAH. I have it better. I have a boyfriend, plenty of friends (worth being friends with, obviously), and I'm clearly the next queen! Those dumb Lights kept the same rule: The oldest is the first heir. Now it's whoever's married first! Which still is me, but whatever.

"I'm just... going to the garden. Yes, there." I roll my eyes. "Well, have fun." She softly touched a little flower in her hair. "I-I will, thanks?" then she rushed. Now a thought popped in my head. Mom and Dad swore they'd never read Stargaze's diary, but I was a whole other story!
'Dear diary, I ran into Prince Sunrise at the yearly ball, and when I invited him to my spot yesterday, he seemed to just get me. And I like him. A lot.'
