Blob creatures are invulnerable to physical damage, but their main weaknes is that They're water soluble (they disolve in water). This means that if Gooey was stuck in the rain, or got spashed, etc, he'd be more water than blob, A.K.A., he'd become a liquid.

This means he wouldn't be able to move, talk, anything (He'd still be able to see btw). (also becoming a liquid doesn't hurt)

the only way to recover from this is for the water to evaporate.
