sheet of a costume I made of Iguana last year
The head was 25 inches long and made from cardboard while the wings and back scales were cardboard and giant brown paper stuff.
It can also be used as a dragon puppet :]
Only took about 3-5 days and got finished on Halloween night after school (Wore smth else to school I'll make that a sheet as well)
Head was made by meh :3
it has a forehead which was pain to make :D
My mom made most the wings but I painted they extend :3

head Supplies:
Cardboard
scissors
hot glue
duct tape
painters tape
paint
brushes
pencil
First you need to take two pieces of cardboard that are basically the same (you can tape pieces together) Sketch out your design on the first one and don't put facial features yet once you have one flip it over like a pancake and tape it on the back of the other cardboard piece (I suggest painters tape or packaging tape so it won't rip) then cut out around in until you have two sides

Then take off the back tape holding it down
now you need to make sure it will fit on the sides of your head and cover your head
after that tape the nose tip meeting up and grab cardboard bigger than that to make a big triangle with flaps hanging off
where the head bend is on your dragon cut into only the flaps and bend it to where about half is sticking up
then cut the flaps again where it bends again
phew lemme get a snack rq...

Alr back
then take hot glue and fold the flaps down to glue the head onto the forehead bending the bends to fit
once you have both sides glued on you can cut out anything like ears, horns,or fins but not the top one yet
then use hot glue to attach those and grab white paint To start a base coat

Next you sketch where the eyes go on one side and draw one on another piece of cardboard then cut it out and use the same thing you did to make two sides of a head
after that fold a long strip of cardboard in half and use painters tape to tape the eyes to the bottom of it on each
side and lay them over the head to line them up where you want them and hot glue only the eye onto the head next try to take off the strip or just cut it to fit on the head or you can just draw on eyes but this makes-

-it easier to get eyes that are lined up well
