i grew up with them being like

"end times are coming"

"people are brainwashed"

"the bible prophecied this"

and more

EVERYTHING WE KNOW THEY THINK THERES A DIFFERENT AND DARKER STORY TO IT

*puts hand beneath ear as ear grows x3 its size*

and ofc most of my life i beleived it until i got internet access

until eventually ig i was "influenced"

but like-

i CANNOT think for myself
cuz alot of times im like

"what if i am brainwashed???"

"what if i actually am just avoiding the truth???"

and honestly

it drives my fcking insane

like-

guys

they make it believable

so idk whats true and whats not

i want to believe the normal things society tells us

but then my parenst make their conspiracy believable

so sometimes

i think like im just picking what i want to believe

and avoiding the truth

this is hard for me to say cuz i actually think theres something wrong with me

If you like what you are doing, then do it. If you don't support your parent's conspiracies, then you don't have to. You shouldn't have to think "Oh no, am I brainwashed?" because you are allowed an opinion. That's what your parents are trying to take away from you, but that's the one thing nobody can take away. You can believe in anything you want, and don't let people tell you not to.
