Using AI references seems like it would be a good way to avoid plagiarism issues with reference pictures, but AI isn't always the best for proportions or realism. Still an interesting way to find inspiration for your art
I had a little conversation with someone here recently where I gave a little hot-take about how savvy artists could use AI as a learning tool while we have it.
I feel for the artists/writers/etc.. who lost their carrers to AI. There's no way they could have predicted a sudden lay-off being replaced with a robot like that. But historically, that happened to blacksmiths during the industrial revolutions when more efficient materials were mass produced.
My apologies for giving you a wall of text as a comment. I thought this might be a good place to share that thought. You did an incredible job recreating the image, and I think that's worth something by itself.
