Well yes? It's from a movie! Let me explain.
I obsess over the character #Hitomi, and I see her EVERYwhere with girls with short messy black hair. It's almost like a compulsion at my rate to see every painting I see with a girl like that, to insert with her. I wasn't aware of this anime special that someone direct referenced and drew here.
Now I saw this uncanny resemblance to Hitomi with the original design, so I had to. Since I didn't want to steal the spotlight of the og artwork-

I waited a week or so for it to have it's run. Since remixing art on here is meant to be a fun thing, I thought 'oh, wouldn't it be fun to insert My main character into this protagonist situation?' So I did so and tried making it more original-including #Chiyo [her bf-f?] into the mix! So it was to branch out from the original but be a fun remix nonetheless. So yeah this one became part of a series of originals, but this was meant as tribute. Which I tried offering an alternative with :thumbsup:
