I'm so glad Neo and Eric have resonated with you so much, they are the most special characters to me because they have been created with so much love. I really think that a character doesn't need to have a tragic story behind them for people to empathize with them, so I often like to draw them being happy (I personally love to see happy couples being cute with their partner aw <3 )
