I actually came up with this a few years ago, but I thought it would work well in Fairy Tail's contest. These large creatures come out at night, swoop down, and grab humans with their eight legs. Then it stabs them with its venomous tail, which contains a paralysis venom. Lastly, it takes the human back to its lair to be eaten alive...
