My hunting buddy finally figured out what was wrong with his internet, so we went on a few hunts together.
That Narga didn't stand a chance.
I've mained Kinsect Glave since the beginning, and gotten him into using it too.
You can deal some serious damage with two glave users.
I'm using RBrach glave (layered guild palace) and the dragon soul.

As someone who has only played Monster Hunter Stories games, I don't really understand it, but thanks to youtube I kind of do understand lol

Hey, kind of understanding is better than total confusion!
I started my (mild) Monster Hunter obsession with Monster Hunter World, and purchased Stories 2 about a year ago.
Very, very different game styles.

Plus, I remember hearing one time that the Monster Hunter Stories games might have been made to draw in fans of games like Pokémon and to slowly get them into the main Monster Hunter games. I don't know how factual that is, but if it's true, it definitely is smart.

I used Insect Glaive a lot back in MH4. Pole Vaulting and commanding a bug in battle was a fun change of pace. I then moved on to using Charge Blade a lot throughout World, until MH Rise, where I moved back to using Swag-axe. SA was my choice weapon in MH3, but it came back to full swing with the Zero-Sum Discharge ability in 5th Gen.
