One of the characters that's a part of CORE, but only shows up in part 2
They're an angel! I really like them. They remind me so much of Frieza.
Aetherra is the final opponent Ossa faces in her story. They watch over the afterlife and "enforce God's will." Something they've been doing with tunnel vision for so long, that they lost the plot a little. They're the ONLY angel in the realms Ossa finds herself in, and they've been pretty isolated because of that for many aeons!
It's not something I ever actually touch on in the story, so I'll say it here; Aetherra is effectively the LAST angel in the intangible realms (aka: not the material world). Additionally, the god they serve just doesn't exist anymore! They just trust it, but that god just kinda picked up and left one day - got bored, maybe?

They present as this human-like being when interacting with "lower life forms" but will take on a couple different stages of transformations before turning into their final form (of which I have sketched here before)
