The new stranger jolted awake, gasping as she came to. Her eyes darted around, taking in her unfamiliar surroundings. With Luuce obscuring her line of sight with the nearby town, all she saw was endless, endless sand...
"Who are you?" Luuce demanded her attention again, staring down at her with a stonefaced expression. Her eyes snapped to the unfamiliar man who towered over her. She had never seen someone so tall... come to think of it, she can scarcely recall seeing anyone of ANY height.
"Ossa..." the girl managed to whisper, answering almost autonomously. Ossa? She had never heard that name before, or any name LIKE it, but she also somehow knew it belonged to her.
The girl's hands quickly raised, clutching her head, her mind lost in confusion. Luuce's expression softened as he knealt down, realizing this girl was no threat. "Calm down, it's okay. You're just... new here."

Ossa looked back to Luuce, confusion in her eyes. "Can you remember where you were before you came here?" Luuce looked at her expectantly. Ossa remained quiet as she sat in thought. It didn't take long for the memory to come flooding back. A blinding light, headlights. Ossa remembered being hit by a car, speeding away as she grew cold. "I'm not alive anymore..." she spoke, her voice lacking any identifiable emotion. She didn't understand why she wasn't afraid of that, but she wasn't.
"That's right. Welcome to the afterlife, Ossa."
