@-Shine- Torchic is the correct choice
But with Hoenn so I would still call people based no matter what they chose. Treeko and Mudkip are awesome
I only recently learnt Pokemon games after I had stopped playing ALL had a raised shiny chance, which is wild! I've been just stumbling into getting a buncha shinies these days and was gaslighting myself into thinking they were scripted, because I had never caught one without cheats before!

yeah in gen 1-5 the odds were one out of eight thosend one hundred and ninety two if i remember right??
gen six doubled it.
i rememer playing pokemon pearl..
it was my first game, i didnt get to play Sapphire untill a few years later
i had max hours in the game and i found 3 shinys compleatly full odds throught my journey.
it could be also cuz i never used a repel. ever. lol
