The iPhone app isn't very ideal for drawing (because there's only four brushes) and there are some bugs when drawing on iPhone. It's more a way of staying up-to-date on other people's drawings. (For some reason you have to pay to look online.) Overall, the paid version is worth it only if you want to check other people's drawings.
