Roger, Reinhardt and Elias have been friends since they were little, and Amalia, who is Roger's younger sister by two years, also joined the group to play even though her brother didn't like it (but she finally gave in so that she wouldn't get into trouble for being too naughty).

Elias is a dragon, and therefore he doesn't have the habit of celebrating human holidays; even more so because his species remains hidden from the others. When he met his friends, he didn't understand anything, but as they taught him, his love and curiosity for humans grew.

His family didn't allow him to go beyond his land, much less to go and hang out with his human friends, since they consider them a despicable species, but after proving that Roger, Amalia and Reinhardt were very good to him, they were the first humans admitted by the dragons; thus celebrating many Christmases together until their adulthood.
