When you live in a world with sky islands like this, you gotta have wings to fully explore everthing.
I love hights personally, and would enjoy living in a fantasy world like this.

Indeed. The people of sea-level lands wouldn't be as familiar with the culture of sky islanders (I was about to say skylanders, but realized that is already used). The sky islanders might also feel a sense of superiority over their sea-level neighbors for being so high above them, like their more advanced/evolved, and more privelaged to travel as they please.

It's your world building though, so your decision is final.

Those who weren't born with wings learned to use steam engines for travel. Nice! You might need to draw that some day.

On that note, a realistic painting of Jake is still in progress. I'm working on the fine details, but if I can put a greater focus into it, I should have it finished either late this month, or early next month. I'll give you a tighter ETA soon.
