I love my parents, but i'm going to be honest, they're racıst af and I'm tired of dealing with them. I was raised by a black women for 9 years of my life, so I have low tolerance for any type of discrimination or racısm towards any type of race or ethnicity. Since Ive been living with my father, it hasnt been great. I understand he's from the deep south, but that's no excuse. He told me I can't "date or marry a black man due to statistics"

I love my dad and all, but I genuinely feel uncomfortable and disgusted by him at this point. I don't care where you're raised up or how bad your childhood was, discriminating any type of race is disgusting behaviour.

Im currently talking with a mixed boy and he has plans to come drive down to my city over winter break so we can go out together (He's 16 ya'll, dont freak out! :sob:) And I'm not sure how my dad will react. If anyone has any suggestions or advice with these types of problems, please let me know!!

That is so sad!! I honestly never understood that stuff, like, it's literally a skin color??? People need to grow up.
I hope you are still able to go out with him, I would lend you advice, but I don't have any ideas. :(

@ZELTIK- i agree with Zeltik.
Must be hard, i hate racism. And like, its just a skin color! Its not like any human in different cause their emo or scene or anything/any skin color/ like that!
