I can't really say much lore wise, since I don't know how the world with Illuminae works, but her favorite illusion would be simulated glowing/invisibility.
(So, not really either, I suppose. It would just seem as if either were true. Her light wouldn't cast any shadows or actually light up anything, and her 'invisibility' would be imperfect.)
