It forms a hard stone-like casing around them.

this is called the ''Cocoon'' stage.
during this stage, they loose all 5 senses.
This stage can last for 2 days to 1 week.

Eventually, the cocoon starts to Crack, and after that...

The Final Stage; The God of Chaos.
The only way to revert from this stage, is to remove all of the negative emotion from them.
