Sorry I'm a little late for this, but I can feel your pain. I had a friend a while back that got hit by a car and got brain damage ): he was in a coma for 2 months but when he woke up he barely remembered me. he forgot everything that we have done, he only remembered my existence, so we weren't as good friends as before.
