That actually makes sense lol, what if the military's health insurance was so barebones and terrible that he had to save up for facial reconstruction surgery :sob:

Actually, Idk how his face looks mostly fine because if it was reconstructed with skin grafts and not just a reattachment his face would look a bit more messed up, and you can't reacreate the skin of the lips very well with just skin grafts, so I might call that cannon into question
because the way I drew his scarring is that he got his face stitched back together and he got metal grafts to replace his shattered front jaw bone
