as for my dad, he loved the drawing!! he made it the background of his phone screen hehe, he had a great birthday too and this sunday we got to go to a cookout his dad/my grandpa had as a late birthday gift!! me n my dad walked out in the woods together which was great :>

as for the characters, they're from a manga and anime series known as my hero academia!! the little girl is eri, and the big buff guy is all might. my hero academia (MHA for short) is a world where 8O percent of people are born with powers called quirks, they're essentially superpowers that people possess. [continued]

a society of superheroes and supervillains ends up forming. all might is the number one superhero of japan and is extremely powerful, known for his trademark smile, and is considered a symbol of peace and inspiration across the country, even in other places of the world. however, throughout the course of MHA he's basically losing his quirk, called "one for all", and is deteriorating physically, so he passes one for all down to a quirkless boy named izuku (the protagonist) who wants to be a hero
meanwhile, eri is a little girl who shows up later in the show where izuku's much deeper into his journey to becoming a hero, eri's quirk is a rewinding one of sorts where she can turn back time on a person's body, she needs to save up lots of energy to use it though. i wont dive too much into her story role specifically since its spoilery but she goes through quite a lot, she needs a hug :'3 this drawing is based off the idea of eri using her quirk to rewind all might's deteriorating [cont.]

body back into its prime, in particular healing a major wound he suffered from the show's main villain. this never happens in canon though, and logically /couldnt/ happen since eri would probably have to save up multiple years worth of energy to rewind him to that degree, and by that point it'd be too late to fix him anyway lol. so this is mostly just a fun what-if idea, my parents watch MHA and came up with it bc they love all might :p

yeah, everyone has gone thru sh/t in life and that just happens to be mine. i feel im stronger as a person beacause of it, ya know?
i mean, its hard cuz i can never go anywhere alone irl. and when i am out w/ someone, there is always the small fear in back of mind i might run into her. but i really do try to live in a positive light as much as possible.

i maneged to beat all 8 gyms in about five days then decided to restart the file over two days ago to reply through again ^^''
the QoL stuff is real nice. for example, Celadon City sells ALL evoloution items. not just fire,water,leaf, and thunder stone.
and insted of hold trade evo items you just use the item on the mon and it evolves. ^^

also playing pokemon Quetzal, wich i also restarted. its probs my in my top three fave pokemon rom hacks.
the pokemon show in the overworld and you can see if they are shiny n stuff, and you can choose your shiny odds at the start. also has all gen pokemon, can even do randomizer, and you can pick from a bunch of playable character sprites. such as for male: Ash, Gary Giovanni, Jessie, Silver, Gold, etc all the way to gen nine charcters.
same for girl, and you can swap your sprite any time.
move toutor is in your party menu w/ nickname op
gosh there is just so much haha!

Quetzal just has alot of nice lil things in that make it alot of fun >u<
id say all it needs in, in-game wonder trade (a few rom hacks have it)
it does have co-op mode tho but i havent tryed it yet so no clue how it works yet lol

i re-counted the pokemon rom hacks on my home screen and i have like, 32 on there, heehee! >u<

havent tryed the sword sheild plus one yet but ill try to do that soon.

and hey , did you try the RTChanger to see if it helps for streetpass rally?

mha is pretty cool!! there's a lot to like about it, it's not a perfect show but overall its a great experience :D

for me, i do use colors a lot and still log in but i tend to not socialize too much aside from chatting with my gf lmao :sob: so im kinda in the same boat here

its hard to find physical carts of them that aren't either severely overpriced or bootlegged :grimacing: cuz i love the compatibility with the ds and gamecube pokemon games that a gba offers, as well as the ability to connect to the carts with r4s or smth and inject custom events without altering the original rom at all. i guess i could still play them via the gba mode on my 2ds like how u play romhacks but, i dont know how i could transfer my save data out if i did that :thinking:

anyway... pokemon quetzal sounds awesome, ive never heard of it before but ur desc makes it seem sick :eyes: especially the custom shiny odds lol i love shiny hunting but its rlly tiring sometimes so, boosted odds are fun :'3

yeah fire red extended is quite fun. the ONLY thing that really bugs me (i found this out while playing) is that they changed some of the shiny sprite colors :/
the first playthough i found shiny munna. ok, thats fine. BUT THEN I EVOLVE IT. insted of musharna being the dark blue-ish shade, it now has munna's yellow and green shiny colors and it looks god awful..
it kinda makes me mad, idk the shiny wasnt bad in the first place.

yeah some shinys could use a revamp (im looking at you seel & dewgong) but they redid alot of ones that were actually nice..
example: Piplup: black not light icy blue. Charmander, Black not gold. Fucoco & evos: GREEN

As a shiny hunter, ive memorized all pokemon and their shinys but now im weary ill find that i didnt realized was changed.
the shiny odds are higher, but its a double-eged sword deal where i may be finding more shinys, but im more likely to find ones they redid now, cuz odds. :C

this game is god-tier to me. i cant even, its just fantastic.
perfect game to shiny hunt in. and even if someone doesnt care for shiny hunting, its SO cool to play even if you dont wanna customize your odds or hunt.

hey hey its okay!! :( you're not a terrible person. its just a well-meaning mistake, everyone makes those and they don't define you as a person (unless you're unwillingly to learn from them), and i can see clearly you feel really really bad and regretful

im not sure how you saw me online, since you commented at around five am my time and i was sleeping then... but nonetheless, its okay shine, i forgive you!! :'D i also wanna say sorry too, i think i was too blunt in my comments and shouldve been gentler.

like Mewsea on your post said, its okay to trace in itself as long as you say clearly you're tracing. if tracing and sharing others art is how you have fun with art, then thats how you should do it, bc having fun with your art is really important! credit's just really important too, at least to me it is. imo, all art deserves credit regardless whether its traced, reposted or even someone's free-to-use art that was edited--unless ofc the artist says its okay not to credit! --

most people just want credit for their drawings by default--lotsa ppl dont even allow reposting at all.

the main reason i think its important on here is bc there's a lot of younger kids using this app, especially as of recently. kids can be pretty damn smart ofc, but theres a lot who dont even know tracing is a thing on here, and take every drawing at face value. and when ive seen people trace clearly stolen art with wildly inconsistent artstyles, and lie and say "i drew this in my sketchbook first!! ^_^", it just makes me upset and wears my patience thin :sob:

i understand giving credit to artists can be quite difficult when you only have your 2ds to search stuff online--so, if you post traced art in the future, i could maybe try n find the credits for you? since i could take your art and try to reverse image search it, or if the art was near the top of google then i'd just look into that. if you cant find a credit then its also okay to say smth like "traced, found near the top of google", altho i do think its actually possible to check an image's website of origin on the 2ds browser? so, u could try n do that too maybe :thinking:

i totally get that though, i tend to worry a bit about what other people think of me, i can get quite paranoid and obsessive over little things and its easy to let my emotions get ahead of me. and, im a little bit of a people pleaser who tends to crumble under the weight of what other people want, if the alternative is super upsetting or stressful.

all that to say, i understand where you're coming from, it can be quite hard to regulate emotions, especially if you have a lot of other stuff going on in your surroundings (which, it sounds like you do :pensive:). i just hope you're doing better now, its obviously not good to get so emotional that it leads to such an intense upset but, i know its quite difficult to work through and calm yourself, its smth im still learning too

i always got alot on my plate so i guess im emtional because i deal w/ alota stuff most time.

i was able to enjoy a bit of the party.
tho keeping your emotions inside kinda weres on you.
i had to put a smile on for it, even tho in my head i did not feel like smiling moment.

i went to sleep after i tyed my previus comment, so waking up today i felt a little bit better cuz sleep on your thoughts to be fresh in the morning sometimes works.
im not great, but im ok.
like nutural in the middle mood rn. not happy exactly but not sad ether.
so thats an improvement from yesterday. it may take another day or so to feel normal but ill get there.
