1900s cartoon styles are enjoyable to watch ♥ by Nutty_Oaks

I enjoy watching cartoons from this era. Any point, doesn't matter if it's early or late 1900's, all the shows from that point seemed creative and fun. Had an actual essence to them that now-a-days cartoons don't seem to capture anymore

Despite what I watch, I think I enjoyed the vibe these kind of things had, thanks to the game BatIM, weirdly enough. That, or I just enjoy the older vibe things had

@BLuE666 Thank you!

I don't remember Kim Possible, but usually for me, story matters more, no matter what.
You can have a good art style, but sucky story. Everyone will call out on it no matter what.

People, while the animation could be up to date phenomenal, without a good story and characters, it can really flop (You can take shows and movies *cough* Disney*cough* for example)

While I love some animation styles, it's hard to get into if the story doesn't captivate me, ya know?

If someone made a video essay detailing the evolution of animation (which probably does exist, and I just need to search for it), that is something I'd like to watch. If the animators had given detail in various interviews explaining the source of their inspirations, I imagine we'd see how they were inspired by their predecessors, and that this industry is built on the backs of giants.

Animation is awesome!

@The_Adjudicator
I'm sure there is! Animation has been a HUGE influence on many people, especially artist. Into the Spider-verse or whatever, was a huge step for mainly animators, in the art style industrias, making it possible for new movies and shows with styles you don't normally see!

I think it's great we have something like that, being able to tell storys through characters we can relate to on the screen.. I hope to see animation move forward in a good way in the near future :yellow_heart:
