I like bees. They're much more useful than dangerous. They just don't like it when you intrude on their unmarked territory.

Do I detect a bit of pent up frustration boiling over?

I'm not going to judge you for that vent/rant. I think it is greatly justified. And you are right about so much of nature being greatly misunderstood. Bees are remarkably important and beneficial to any biom. Though they are aggressive and fiercely teritorial, much like some other life forms.

I am going to critique some of your other comments though..

Spiders are among my favorite species. Something about that 8 legged movement that triggers most other people's phobia, fascinates me to no end. I've handled black widdow spiders before, and people have called me crazy for it. However, there are a few species of spider that I wouldn't even touch with a stick.. Australian Funnel web siders are famously the most deadly known spiders. They are agressive and will fight on sight. Brazilian wandering spiders are similar, but with a.. side effect

Lastly, while humanity can indeed be horrible, we are not alone in being unreasonable. Infact, the majority of the human race is very respectful toward nature. There are hundreds of millions in the United States and Europe who are destructive towards the environment, however there are billions in Asia and Africa (as an example) who respect their environments.
We shouldn't over generalize all of humanity as terrible, when the destructive ones are a minority.

Furthermore, there are a lot of predators in nature that don't respect their neigbors either. The majority of predator victims tend to be the young and infants because they're easy prey. Nature can be brutal and unforgiving. Humanity is the same, but on a larger scale. There are still a lot of good folks out there doing the best they can to respect and benefit their environments.

I don't now if you're familiar with Casual Geographic on social media platforms, but I think he does a great job spinning a narative on the wholesome, and the brutal faces of nature.
